This blog is dedicated to the cinema which I've grown up with since my childhood years.
No doubt it ain't the orginal site of Shaw Cinema (yes, we're talking about the grand one located in the Republic of Singapore, a once prowd colony of the British empire), it's nonetheless in my personal opinion, one of the state of the art cinemas located in South East Asia.
Having witnessed the tremendous change ine the past 2 decades and more, the Shaw chain of cinemas have grown from strength to strength not in terms of human resource employment, but in the areas of cinema technology.
From screening the old Shaw brand of self-made movies (I'm not sure if theat's what they used to call it), to the screening of the epic "Gone with the Wind", through the period of "Star Wars", and witnessing the surge of the "Superman" craze, the Shaw chain of cinemas entertained generations of movie goers and will continue to do in the years to come.
As I'm writing this post, I've just booked a ticket to the movie "Legion".
Stay tuned...
